Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Federal Market team in Jacksonville, FL, Norfolk, VA, Merrit Island, FL, Chicago, IL, or San Antonio. This role is responsible for managing a diverse list of projects, focusing on client relationships, and growing project management skills into comprehensive client management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse list of projects ranging from schools to hangars to infrastructure
  • Focus on client relationships in addition to projects
  • Cover new IDIQ contracts including NAVFAC SE and USACE
  • Manage multi-discipline design teams
  • Utilize and encourage best uses of design technologies for presentation and production purposes
  • Engage in speaking and writing opportunities to assist in positioning RS&H as a thought leader
  • Collaborate with national managers and other project managers concerning budget and staffing projections
  • Support our marketing team and help with large project pursuits through relationship development and pursuit & acquisition planning
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's of Architecture or Engineering degree from an accredited university
  • 15 years or more in design and project management experience
  • Demonstrated capability in client relationship building
  • Demonstrated capability in leadership of design teams
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Registered Architect in good standing, NCARB certification and the ability to obtain architectural registration in multiple states is desired OR registered Professional Engineer with the ability to be registered in multiple states
  • Strong marketing, sales, production, and team-building skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel in the US and internationally
  • US Citizen or National per client requirement
Preferred Qualifications
  • Federal or Military project design experience
  • LEED Accredited Professional
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
  • Recognized experience in leadership of professional associations (AIA, SAME, etc)
  • Visualization and graphics capabilities (Photoshop or others)
