Senior Project Manager

Drive successful delivery of complex projects in the marine terminal or intermodal terminal space, managing all aspects of project execution and ensuring defined value is delivered through effective planning and facilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, evaluating trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value.
  • Facilitate cross-initiative planning discussions and identify dependencies, ensuring resource gaps are resolved and initiatives are adequately supported.
  • Establish governance and act as an advisor, building and maintaining relationships across the wider stakeholder community.
  • Partner with sponsor(s) and key stakeholders to communicate project goals, objectives, and outcomes, maintaining a feedback loop to ensure identified program adjustments are made to deliver increased business value.
  • Optimize day-to-day operational aspects of multiple initiatives or agile teams, contributing to building a framework or set of guidelines for the use of project managers and supporting its adoption across initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of project management concepts and practices, with a focus on deploying complex enterprise software in the supply chain logistics space.
  • Proven ability to adapt behavior or work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles, and to effectively deal with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
  • Strong experience with project management tools, software delivery, and an understanding of technology concepts, with a focus on systems life cycle management and methods and tools for risk mitigation.
  • Ability to make well-informed and objective decisions, and to perceive the impact and implications of decisions by leveraging fundamental prioritization and problem-solving skills.
