Job Overview:

The Leidos Intelligence Group is seeking an experienced Data-Manager to support our customer in St. Louis, Missouri.

This position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in data management, database design, and geospatial intelligence standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle and Postgres database design, including relational model building, data migration, and quality analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage postgres and Oracle databases used to store geodetic and geophysical survey data.
  • Refine data adherence to defined standards and enhance accessibility.
  • C coordinate with customer stakeholders to refine data and file formats.
  • Provide input to revisions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), geodetic standards, and documentation related to the package generation process.
  • Validate data files are correctly attributed and formatted consistently with relevant SOPs and standards documents.
  • Migrate legacy data from Oracle, removable media, shared drives, and hard copy to the Geodetic Surveys Database (GSD).

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Oracle and Postgres database design, including relational model building.
  • Experience migrating data from legacy databases and other digital storage systems.
  • Experience in data quality analysis, preparation, cleansing, formatting, and transformation.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel.
  • Knowledge of NSG standards and associated organizations and registries.
  • Experience with Extensible Markup Language (XML), XML Schema Documents (XSD), Geography Markup Language (GML), and Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL).
