As an HVAC Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including hot air, boiler, water heating, and air conditioning/heat pump systems.
- Service and Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct problems on HVAC systems, perform efficiency and combustion tests, and operate various modern industry-related tools.
- Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous customer service, accurately and honestly communicate information about products and services, and collect payments from customers when necessary.
- Compliance and Safety: Maintain compliance with all traffic and environmental laws and regulations, company and government safety, policy, and regulatory standards, and company policies and procedures.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Complete all reports and paperwork according to company standards, policies, and procedures, and maintain accurate safety and compliance records.
- Experience: 2 years' experience as an HVAC Equipment Installer and/or completed MEP HVAC Apprenticeship is preferred.
- Certifications: Maintain a valid driver's license, EPA Refrigerant certification, and CETP qualifications.
- Skills: Ability to maintain a professional manner in difficult situations, operate well under pressure, and work well independently and as a member of a team.
- Physical Demands: Ability to meet physical demands, including climbing ladders/stairs, maneuvering in attics, basements, and crawl spaces, and performing work outdoors with exposure to the elements.
