We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN Intermediate Care IMC to join our healthcare team at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care, working collaboratively with medical providers to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, providing age and culturally appropriate care while carrying out physician orders.
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs, and instruct and educate patients and families.
- Provide respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring for patients, utilizing the Meditech computerized documentation system to record and communicate patient conditions.
- Participate in discharge planning, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Support new staff through mentoring and orientation, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Current Indiana RN licensure or active Compact State RN license.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing, Associates Degree required.
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider, with ACLS and NIHSS certification obtained within 6 months of hire date.
- TCAT course completion within a year of employment.
- Excellent customer service skills, including effective listening and critical thinking abilities.
