Maintenance Technician

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing semi-skilled manual tasks related to the maintenance and repair of our building and grounds, equipment, and appliances. Your duties will include safely operating tools and machines, ordering materials, making repairs, and performing preventative maintenance schedules. You will also be responsible for maintaining exterior grounds, including shoveling, landscaping, and trash collection and removal. Additionally, you will assist with community vehicle maintenance and transport residents safely to appointments. If you have a high school diploma or GED, two years of previous experience in a maintenance position, and are knowledgeable about building maintenance practices and materials, we encourage you to apply. You must be detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills, and be able to work well with others as part of a team. You will also be required to maintain resident confidentiality and be able to lift 50 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 50 feet.
