Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Preserve at Ridgeville. This individual will utilize their experience and attention to detail to maintain the physical integrity of our property, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Completing work orders in a timely manner based on priority
  • Performing make-readies
  • Maintaining property grounds and common areas
  • Conducting preventative maintenance
  • Maintaining a clean and organized shop and work areas
  • Providing a parts and material list on a weekly basis
  • Assisting in emergency call coverage with other team members
  • Demonstrating excellent customer service skills
  • Adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Performing other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred
  • A valid driver's license
  • EPA HVAC certification (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • The ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
