The Meta Camera and Depth team is seeking an experienced Depth System Calibration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our system performance team, you will be responsible for technology development and maturation, design, novel manufacturing/test/calibration processes, and system integration of all Meta Camera and depth products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design calibration and test plans for depth systems

Perform end-to-end test setup, data collection, and analysis for setting up test specs and validation

Improve calibration and test coverage by developing lab and factory tests, including metrology and algorithm development

Perform system and module level failure analysis

Analyze volume data to improve system performance considering trade-offs from all perspectives

Domestic and/or international travel (10%)

Requirements:

BS degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline

5+ years of experience in Optical Engineering, Physics, or computer science

3+ years of experience within the hardware consumer industry, with experience in camera modules

Hands-on experience with 2D or 3D module calibration and test

Precise communication skills, analytical, and problem-solving experience

Demonstrated data analysis experience in Python or Matlab

Test automation experience in Python or Matlab

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in E2E production/factory test (proto-build to mass production)

Experience in image quality or signal processing for depth measurement systems

Experience in SW development for mass production

Experience in computer vision metrics and techniques

Compensation:
$170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
