We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in the Outpatient Pediatrics department. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical therapy treatment to patients, evaluating their needs, and developing personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans to address those needs.
- Deliver physical therapy treatment to patients, either through referral or direct to consumer, to help them achieve their goals.
- Assess patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy to provide the highest level of care.
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
- Current physical therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
This position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions. The Physical Therapist will be required to stand, walk, and move objects frequently, and may be exposed to blood, body fluids, and other infectious materials. The incumbent must be able to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The Physical Therapist will also be required to work in a patient care area, work with patients, and work with specimens that could contain communicable diseases.
