We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our team at Proactive Engineering Consultants Inc. As a key member of our land development team, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of engineering projects, including site planning, grading, drainage, utility design, and permitting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams in the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and due diligence assessments to determine project viability and scope.
  • Develop comprehensive engineering designs and plans for site layout, grading, drainage, and utilities, utilizing industry-standard software.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Coordinate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and support staff, fostering their professional development and growth.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the project team and across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects.
  • At least 3 years of a proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from concept through construction.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering design software.
  • Strong understanding of land development regulations, zoning codes, and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in client management and business development is a plus.
