Job Summary

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is a key member of our operations team, responsible for advancing our manufacturing capabilities through the development of new processes and systems. This role requires a strong technical background and leadership skills to provide guidance to all areas of manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Provide technical leadership to manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices and ISO requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and troubleshoot process or equipment issues.
  • Design and implement lean initiatives to improve manufacturing operations.
  • Manage budgets and equipment purchases for large-scale projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, ergonomics, and production risk assessments.
  • Lead and coach others in the use of advanced Six Sigma tools to improve process outputs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science or Engineering field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, process improvement, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an FDA-regulated production environment.
  • Strong background in good manufacturing practices and ISO requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Competencies
  • Training and experience in testing and troubleshooting electromechanical assemblies.
  • Familiarity with good laboratory practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in advanced problem-solving methods and determining root cause through understanding and use of lean and six sigma tools.
  • Leadership experience in design of experiments and engineering controls.
