Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Shore Lodge Whitetail LLC Room Attendant is responsible for upholding the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations, ensuring a professional and inviting atmosphere through routine cleaning and servicing tasks. Our Room Attendants embody a positive representation of our establishment to guests, demonstrating friendliness, honesty, and professionalism.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive a list of unoccupied rooms that require cleaning.
  • Ensure guest rooms are cleaned to the highest standards of quality.
  • Make beds, dust surfaces, and clean bathrooms and closets.
  • Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms and bathrooms in accordance with operational guidelines.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms, bedrooms, and hallways, including vacuuming carpets.
  • Secure rooms after cleaning to maintain guest privacy and security.
  • Deliver and collect items requested by guests, such as irons and ironing boards.
  • Inspect rooms for necessary repairs or replacements and communicate findings to management.
  • Keep an inventory of all furnishings, linens, and room amenities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests, club members, and colleagues.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and strive for continuous improvement in service quality.
  • Adhere to instructions and management directives; take ownership of tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss policies, guest feedback, and service enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization.
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as needed.
  • Effective communication with guests and team members.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous.

ADDITIONAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking.
  • Ability to lift supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Constant visual and auditory acuity, along with frequent agility and dexterity.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals is part of the role.
