Job Title: Clinical Dietitian

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality nutrition care to patients in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients based on their medical, cultural, and age-specific needs.
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of clinical nutrition services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in medical nutrition therapy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • M.S. degree from an accredited college or university with a didactic program in dietetics.
  • Successful completion of a post-baccalaureate certificate program in dietetics/dietetic internship.
  • Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification.
  • CT state dietitian-nutritionist certification within 6 months of hire.
Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a multi-unit office, kitchen, and patient care areas. The successful candidate must be able to stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, and lift less than twenty pounds.
