Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients based on their medical, cultural, and age-specific needs.
- Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of clinical nutrition services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in medical nutrition therapy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- M.S. degree from an accredited college or university with a didactic program in dietetics.
- Successful completion of a post-baccalaureate certificate program in dietetics/dietetic internship.
- Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification.
- CT state dietitian-nutritionist certification within 6 months of hire.
This position requires working in a multi-unit office, kitchen, and patient care areas. The successful candidate must be able to stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, and lift less than twenty pounds.
