About the Role:

The Veterinarian Manager will oversee the daily operations of our Community Medicine program, ensuring the highest quality care for animals in underserved communities. This role will require strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of veterinary medicine and animal behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of veterinarians and support staff to provide high-quality care to animals in our clinics and mobile units.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of animal care and welfare.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
