Senior Marine Officer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marine Officer to join our team at American Cruise Lines. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe navigation of our vessels along coastal and river waterways.

The Senior Marine Officer will report directly to the Captain and be responsible for:

• Safely navigating the vessel through challenging coastal and river conditions
• Maintaining adherence to company and regulatory standards
• Representing the company as a professional leader and example

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive daily inspections of all vessel interior and exterior spaces
• Supervising and developing junior officers and deckhands
• Executing vessel cleaning, sanitation, maintenance, and logistics
• Leading teamwork with hotel officers and service crew to ensure five-star guest service

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A US Coast Guard Mate's license (minimum 100T, desired 1600T)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Mate on coastal and river waterways (desired 5 years with Z-drive experience)
• Basic marine engineering knowledge of diesel machinery, hydraulics, and liquid load management
• Excellent communication and team-building skills

This is a competitive opportunity that includes:
