Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Addiction Recovery Care, LLC. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating appointments, managing schedules, and providing exceptional patient support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient appointments and schedules, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare providers and staff.
  • Enter instructions and data into electronic medical records, maintaining accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide support for scheduling patient consultations, evaluations, and treatments, as well as follow-up and re-evaluation appointments.
  • Collect and update patient information for KASPER reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update patient medical records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Enter data into various electronic systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Utilize schedule codes and provider information to schedule patient appointments.
  • Provide support for scheduling outside referrals and ensuring follow-up appointments are scheduled on a weekly basis.
  • Support other members of the department as needed, prioritizing work and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in healthcare, substance abuse, or mental health.
  • Proficiency in EHR, Microsoft Office, and speech recognition software.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Punctual and reliable disposition.
  • Superb listening and time management skills.
  • Able to type 90 WPM.
  • Knowledge of professional ethics and team building principles.
  • Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assume additional responsibilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
