Commercial Real Estate Credit Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Real Estate team at Trevose Partners Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting banking products to corporate clients in the commercial real estate sector while managing associated risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development:
- Identify and solicit targeted clients to promote approved banking products.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to assess their needs and uncover business opportunities.
- Evaluate transactions and negotiate terms with partners to ensure timely service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to monitor portfolio performance and achieve annual targets.
- Due Diligence and Credit Assessment:
- Lead initial due diligence and collaborate on KYC processes to ensure compliance.
- Prepare credit rating applications and financial analyses to present to the approval committee.
- Communicate with credit departments to oversee the credit application process and ensure timely closings.
- Risk Management:
- Own and manage risks as the first line of defense to protect the bank's interests.
- Conduct loan classifications and portfolio monitoring to identify potential credit issues.
- Work with credit teams to adjust ratings as needed to ensure accurate risk assessment.
- Perform post-disbursement reviews to manage client risks and ensure compliance.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain a communication log to gather client feedback and develop plans to enhance client relationships.
- Coordinate client visits and ensure timely responses to their needs to improve engagement and cross-selling.
- Propose tailored solutions to improve client relationships and economic returns.
- Risk Management Enhancement:
- Follow remediation plans and cooperate with teams for implementation to enhance risk management practices.
- Participate in training to enhance risk management skills and provide feedback to improve processes.
- Other Duties:
- Adhere to company policies and compliance requirements to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Attend training sessions and prepare necessary reports to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Provide support to team members and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed to ensure seamless team operations.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related fields.
- 5-7 years of experience in U.S. commercial real estate credit or marketing; credit training is beneficial.
- Proven ability to originate across multiple product lines.
- Strong planning, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
Compensation Range: $155,000 - $180,000
