Job Summary

The Warehouse Load Crew position at Mahaska is a part-time opportunity that requires a reliable and hard-working individual to assist with loading and unloading company vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all trucks are loaded economically and accurately, without waste of time, materials, and manpower.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and perform the position responsibilities, including reading orders and building them in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate directly with the Warehouse Manager/Assistant Manager.
  • Assist with customer service and be ready for work at assigned hours of operation.
  • Use warehouse equipment/scanner to log in and scan all build sheets and scan proper product.
  • Notify the Warehouse Manager of any problems or suggestions for improving efficiency or job performance.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, including repacking area.
  • Learn loading procedures for express and conventional trucks.
  • Ensure all paperwork is placed in the correct locations on pallets and that build sheets are completed.
  • Audit all outgoing pallets being built to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete proper forms.
  • Help other team members as needed.
  • Wear proper attire to work every day.
  • Check that all empty and full merchandise is returned to their proper location.
  • Report any injuries/accidents to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be energetic, dependable, hard-working, and reliable. A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment are essential. The successful candidate will also be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening process.
