As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Lafferty Equipment Manufacturing, Inc., you will take charge of all financial operations within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Development: Inspire and cultivate a high-performing finance team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Strategic Direction: Formulate and execute strategic initiatives aimed at boosting profitability and operational productivity.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the organization’s financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial reports.
  • Acquisition Strategy: Contribute to identifying potential acquisition targets and ensure thorough financial diligence and integration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to all legal and regulatory standards while maintaining exceptional quality control.
  • Board Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements to the board periodically.

Performance Metrics for the Initial Year:

  • Enhance financial accountability across key business metrics and track improvement initiatives.
  • Assess acquisition opportunities and achieve over $25M in annualized revenue.
  • Optimize costs to reduce SG&A expenses to 17% of sales.

Compensation Package:

A competitive salary and benefits package will be provided, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Equity participation may also be included.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years in a financial leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated success in financial statement management and achieving commercial objectives.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a talent for motivating a diverse and expanding team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA designation; CFA and other relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • International experience is highly desirable.
