Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Insurance Defense team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing files throughout the litigation process, conducting fact investigations, and handling document productions and other discovery tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage files throughout the litigation process independently and as part of a team
  • Conduct fact investigations and gather evidence
  • Handle document productions and other discovery tasks
  • Prepare witnesses for deposition and take and defend depositions
  • Prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions
  • Review and analyze policies, contracts, and other legal documents
  • Court hearing preparation and attendance, including oral arguments of motions
  • Trial preparation and attendance, including trial team support and direct and cross examination of witnesses

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in all phases of insurance defense and insurance coverage cases
  • Licensed in Missouri and Kansas, with ideal candidates also licensed in Arkansas
  • Ability to work independently on complex insurance defense and insurance coverage cases
