Community Service Case Manager

The Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Case Worker Receptionist to join our team. This vital role plays a key part in connecting individuals with community service opportunities that align with their requirements and goals.
About the Role
- This position will work closely with clients, courts, and local organizations to provide support and guidance, ensuring seamless connections between clients and volunteer opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in technology are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intakes and assessments for court-referred clients, developing personalized service plans that meet court requirements and client goals.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and records, processing client case transfers as needed.
- Foster partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, courts, probation personnel, and community service agencies.
- Act as a liaison between clients and stakeholders, promoting the benefits of community service and volunteerism.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in social work, criminal justice, or a related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in case management or social services, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and case management databases, with bilingual skills required.
- A commitment to serving the community and a passion for volunteerism, with strong attention to detail and organization ability.
Benefits and Compensation
- Estimated Salary: $49,040 - $53,104 per year (based on 40 hours/week and 52 weeks/year)
- Vacation: 12 days in year 1, 15 days in year 2, 20 days in year 5
- Sick Leave: 12 days per year
- Holidays: 12 days observed
