Job Overview

Position Summary:

At Biscayne Bay Restaurant Corporation, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional dining experience characterized by stunning views and exquisite cuisine. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently wash, organize, and maintain all tableware, including plates, utensils, and glassware, adhering to established sanitation protocols.
  • Manage the inventory of kitchen supplies by receiving, replenishing, and rotating stock in accordance with operational guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment and designated areas to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.
  • Set up and shut down dishwashing machinery, troubleshooting any operational issues as they arise.
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed by management to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience in a similar role.

  • Demonstrate the company’s core values through respectful and professional interactions.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards in accordance with workplace requirements.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in operating dishwashing equipment and handling kitchen supplies.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and safety guidelines in English.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to perform essential duties.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and conditions typical of a kitchen setting.
