About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at SOMA Endodontics. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our endodontic specialists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Endodontic Specialist: Provide support to our endodontic specialists in gaining patient commitment for optimal treatment, taking x-rays, and preparing patients for treatment.
  • Maintain a Clean and Sterile Environment: Ensure a clean, sterile, and comfortable environment for patients, and maintain strict compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide Excellent Patient Care: Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by striving to keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending to their individual needs and concerns.
  • Assist with X-rays and Intra-oral Pictures: Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as directed by the endodontic specialist.
  • Provide Postoperative and General Oral Health Care: Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the endodontic specialist.
  • Maintain Equipment and Instruments: Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with American Dental Association guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Education and Training: Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and DA training courses. Specialized training courses and DA licenses are preferred but not required.
  • Associate Degree or Certificate: Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
