Key Responsibilities

  • Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Take dental x-rays to aid in accurate diagnoses.
  • Set up and break down operatory post-treatment, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to promote good oral health.
  • Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns, showcasing your technical skills.
  • Perform quality impressions and bite registrations, contributing to accurate diagnoses.
  • Perform digital intraoral scans, staying up-to-date with the latest technology.
  • Support patient charting for doctors, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Perform various office tasks as necessary, demonstrating your adaptability.
  • Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction, fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying current with industry advancements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
  • Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
