Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at the University of Rochester. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of clinical and community health programs focused on chronic disease prevention and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the development and implementation of clinical and community health programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement evidence-based interventions and programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners, healthcare providers, and payers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in chronic disease prevention and management.
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Family Practice, Medicine, Med-Peds).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
