Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Commercial Health account team at Esri. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies that will radically improve the challenges organizations face in the healthcare industry. You will work closely with our customers to understand their business needs and develop solutions that leverage ArcGIS technology.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry and develop a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges.
  • Prospect, develop, and implement location-based strategies for organizations in the healthcare industry.
  • Create opportunities within new lines of business and leverage social media and other avenues to build your professional network.
  • Participate and present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars to showcase Esri's technology and solutions.
  • Understand our customers' industry knowledge and its relevance to the application of GIS technology.
  • Identify key stakeholders and business drivers for an organization and understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes.
  • Use solution selling skills to understand the needs and business challenges of customers and clearly articulate the strength and value of Esri technology and its value proposition within the commercial health industry.
  • Consistently conduct research and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs and trends that may impact them.
  • Deliver results by successfully executing sales processes for all opportunities and using whiteboard sessions and other techniques to support visual storytelling.
  • Leverage your domain knowledge when working with teams across Esri to define and execute account strategies.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare industry, new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Able to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor's or master's in GIS, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $83,200 - $143,520 USD.
