About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Open Heart Surgical Technician to join our team at Parkridge Medical Center. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, including the setup and breakdown of equipment and supplies.
  • Provide technical support to surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, including the handling of instruments and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being during procedures, including the administration of medications and the management of anesthesia.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
  • Surgical Technician certification required.
  • BLS Certification current.
  • 1 Year of surgery experience preferred in the following areas: Open heart, General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, and Orthopedics.
