Fabricator - Solid Surface Countertops Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator - Solid Surface Countertops to join our team at Interior Logic Group. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for manufacturing customized countertops and related products that meet customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine customer specifications to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
- Fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications.
- Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties.
- Ensure product quality by visually inspecting work pieces.
- Operate machinery to manufacture countertops, maintaining equipment to standards and conducting preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
- Requires intermittent periods of physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment.
- Typically works in a comfortable environment with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, noise, dust, and fumes associated with a normal countertop manufacturing operation.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a drug test, background check, and pre-employment tests if applicable.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
- Preferred: Experience with countertop fabrication shop equipment or machinery, a plus.
- Preferred: Countertop experience.
- Preferred: A desire to work with your hands to produce beautiful products in a team environment.
- Preferred: Granite and solid surface (Corian or similar) experience.
