We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Prime Healthcare. As a Clinical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.
Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of laboratory procedures, including waived, moderate, and highly complex tests, using both manual and automated methods.
- Collect, process, analyze, and report patient test results, adhering to laboratory procedures and quality control policies.
- Identify and correct problems that may affect test performance, and notify supervisors or directors as necessary.
- Perform maintenance on instruments and equipment, and review patient results for accuracy before releasing or reporting.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of laboratory policies and procedures, and adhere to all department and hospital policies.
- ASCP certification or equivalent required within 1 year of employment.
- One year of hospital laboratory work experience preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.
