Job Title: Part Time Store Cleaning Associate

At TJ Maxx, we're always looking for talented individuals to join our team. As a Part Time Store Cleaning Associate, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our store.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, focusing on floor care and adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Operate the scrubber and buffer, dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot clean glass and windows.
  • Adhere to all company policies concerning Health and Safety, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
  • Be cross-trained in other areas of the store, including Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, and more.
  • Support and respond to all Front End coverage needs.
  • Adhere to all operational and loss prevention controls in accordance with company guidelines and policies.
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
  • Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber.
  • Capable of multi-tasking.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
