Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Saja Restaurant Group. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food to meet operational and quality standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment and stations as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties
  • Report customer or employee complaints/issues to management
  • Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
Requirements:
  • General restaurant or retail knowledge
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Multi-tasking skills
Work Environment:

Our kitchen environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting. You will be exposed to heat and hot liquid shortening while cooking, as well as occasional extreme temperatures based on variable weather conditions.

Please note that if hired, you will be employed by a franchisee of Saja Restaurant Group, and the franchisee will set their own wage and benefit programs.
