Head Mixologist

Position Overview:

As the Head Mixologist at Wooden Paddle, you will be the driving force behind our bar's daily operations. Your expertise will not only enhance our cocktail offerings but also ensure a vibrant atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing an engaging and innovative bar menu that encourages conversation.
• Leading and developing a high-performing team of bartenders.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment.
• Achieving optimal beverage cost management.

Work Environment:

This role is full-time, with a flexible schedule that typically includes 4-5 shifts per week, amounting to 25-30 hours. Days off are generally consecutive, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $18 to $20, based on experience. With tips, the average earnings can range from $28 to $35 per hour, with tips guaranteed weekly based on performance and shift activity.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a bartending role, particularly with a focus on craft cocktails.
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory position within a bar or restaurant setting is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required.
• Familiarity with bar management software is advantageous.
