Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Retirement Specialist to join our team at Gray Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our company's retirement savings plans, including the 401K and ESOP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retirement Plan Administration: Responsible for the setup of new hires for the Gray Retirement Savings plan (401k), including accurate data entry, data uploads, and follow-up with team members until enrollment is complete.
  • 401K Contributions: Process weekly files for 401k contributions and complete quarterly self-audits of 401k contributions.
  • ESOP Management: Assist with 401k mergers for newly acquired companies, process Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), and manage Retirement Savings plan voluntary corrections as needed.
  • Annual Audits: Assist with annual non-discrimination testing, resolve team member inquiries regarding the 401k and Gray Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) timely and with thorough research and documentation.
  • ESOP Administration: Assist with the annual 401k and ESOP audits, complete annual mailings for the 401k and ESOP, and manage annual ESOP distributions and diversifications process.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain data points, charts, and graphs in relation to the ESOP, manage plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and assist in annual filing of 5500s for the 401k and ESOP.
  • Team Member Education: Responsible for team member ESOP and 401k education and training, and maintain ESOP administration timeline to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of team members' personal information.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • A minimum of four years related experience and/or training in retirement plans, benefits, finance, or human resources.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • An energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment and has a passion for collaboration and professional development.
