We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Acute Care team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including observation, documentation, and communication of patient healthcare needs.
- Assist with patient care, including implementation and monitoring of patient care plans, and participation in transition to practice programs.
- Collaborate with the registered nurse preceptor to assist with documentation and implementation of physician and nursing orders.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- ADN or BSN, 1 year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Team player who prioritizes patient safety standards and comfortable with providing in-the-moment feedback to peers.
