Crypto News Editor

Decrypt Co, a leading media company at the intersection of emerging technology and culture, is seeking an experienced Crypto News Editor to lead our news coverage of the cryptocurrency industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the crypto landscape, strong leadership skills, and a passion for storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Production: Produce, manage, and oversee daily news coverage, including breaking news, feature stories, and investigative reports.
  • Story Development: Identify and develop story ideas, assign stories to writers, and track the progress of news stories from inception to publication.
  • Editorial Leadership: Provide guidance and feedback to writers, ensuring that all content is accurate, well-sourced, and aligns with our editorial standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience leading a news team, managing and editing other writers. Experience in crypto news coverage is essential.
  • Crypto markets expertise and familiarity with traditional financial markets.
  • Knowledge of U.S. and global crypto policy and regulation.
