Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Froedtert Health is seeking a Full Time Podiatry Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Froedtert Springdale Health Center in Brookfield, WI. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, communicate effectively with patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with a focus on podiatry. A master's degree in nursing or a related field is required, as well as certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing. Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies is preferred, as well as current state certification as a PA and current DEA registration. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is also required.
