Role Summary
The Clinical Advanced Practice Provider plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care while enhancing patient access and satisfaction. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks as outlined by the relevant medical boards and institutional guidelines:
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating both new and returning patients within the internal medicine specialty. This includes conducting thorough assessments, managing treatment plans, and following up on laboratory results and medical tests. You will manage your own patient panel, supported by a dedicated medical assistant, front desk personnel, and on-site management.
Core Duties- Foster and maintain positive relationships with patients and customers (10%)

- Demonstrate commitment to the hospital's mission and values (10%)
- Conduct patient assessments and establish diagnoses based on collected data and current scientific evidence (20%)

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families (5%)
- Contribute to the educational growth of staff, patients, and families (5%)
- Exhibit leadership and effective management skills (5%)
- Provide educational support through role modeling and training sessions to address identified learning needs (5%)
- Pursue ongoing professional development through self-directed learning and continuing education (5%)
Educational Requirements
· Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), or
· Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Experience Requirements
· Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Proven leadership abilities (Required proficiency)
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills (Required proficiency)
- Proficient in accessing patient medical records through the hospital's information system (Required proficiency)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook (Required proficiency)
Licensure and Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio, and
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the State of Ohio, or
- Current Physician Assistant (PA) license in the State of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
