Qualifications:

  • Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

The Production Team Leader is tasked with overseeing the staffing, setup, and operation of bottling lines to ensure production standards are met while satisfying customer expectations. Collaborating closely with the Production Supervisor, the Team Leader is responsible for the effective training and development of production line staff.

Essential Duties:

  • Facilitate the training and orientation of production personnel in alignment with the Operator Development Matrix.
  • Supervise production lines to guarantee the production of quality products in a safe manner.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Promptly report all emergencies, injuries, and production-related incidents to the shift supervisor.
  • Commit to safety as a collective responsibility at Premium Waters, Inc., working together to prevent accidents and injuries.

GMP & PPE Compliance:

While on the production floor, adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is mandatory. All personnel entering the production area must comply with GMP regulations outlined in the employee handbook, which includes wearing hairnets, beard nets, earplugs, and safety glasses. Compliance with standard operating procedures, including quality checks, is essential to meet food safety and quality objectives.

Non-Essential Duties:

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor. In the absence of the Production Team Leader, responsibilities will be assumed by the direct manager or designated individual.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The employee may encounter wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperatures, and high, precarious locations. Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles and risks of electrical shock is also present. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels that require hearing protection.
