Job Summary:

The Maintenance Tech is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly facility walkthroughs to identify and address maintenance needs
  • Develop and implement plans to address maintenance and repair needs, including assembling and installing equipment
  • Collaborate with the Director of Administration to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks
  • Provide training and guidance to volunteers on workday projects
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience
  • Previous experience in educational or group home environments a plus
  • Knowledge of child care licensing regulations a plus
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment
