Key Responsibilities
As a CMT Project Manager, you will:
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to A2LA standards.
- Lead and coordinate a team of technicians providing services to both public and private sector clients.
- Analyze field data and laboratory testing results for construction materials, including soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel.
- Address construction challenges and offer technical support and direction to field staff.
- Prepare proposals, respond to RFQs, and finalize CMT reports.
- Engage directly with clients, addressing inquiries and reviewing reports.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Materials Testing and/or Geotechnical Engineering.
- A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred, while an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
- Experience with projects involving soil, concrete, asphalt, and steel materials.
- Familiarity with A2LA standards is advantageous.
