Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the recycling yard, including debris removal and sweeping
  • Operate mobile machinery such as sweepers and skid steers effectively
  • Perform landscaping tasks, including weed control
  • Safely extract hazardous materials from discarded appliances using specialized tools
  • Support the implementation of the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
  • Conduct inspections of storm drains and outfalls
  • Install and replace filters for storm drain inlets
  • Manage oil spill clean-up and ensure emergency spill kits are stocked
  • Power wash equipment and sanitation facilities
  • Uphold a clean and safe working environment
