Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. This is a full-time position working preoperative care, requiring flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role

This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age/developmentally appropriate care and ensure the highest standards of patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any additional certifications relevant to the role
  • Current Texas RN licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • At least 6 months of RN experience, preferably in a similar setting

Working Conditions

This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
