Key Responsibilities:
- Completes daily operational tasks and end-of-day procedures
- Unlocks necessary storage and access points
- Activates equipment
- Logs into all workstations in examination and work areas
- Prepares medical supplies and equipment for daily operations
- Maintains medical apparatus; ensures all equipment is calibrated, sanitized, and charged
- Collects hazardous waste as required
- Monitors and replaces sharps containers as needed
- Stocks examination rooms
- Cleans and disinfects examination areas
- Disposes of confidential materials properly
- Logs off all workstations at the end of the day
- Organizes and maintains storage areas for samples and supplies
- Secures all storage areas
- Effectively prepares patients and assists providers with treatments
- Records vital signs and updates electronic health records
- Ensures all necessary information for providers is available (labs, hospital records, etc.)
- Updates electronic health records (allergies, medications, medical history, etc.)
- Prepares examination rooms
- Prepares patients for examinations or treatments
- Obtains necessary consents and documentation
- Alerts providers when patients are ready
- Assists providers with patient-requested forms
- Accurately documents patient concerns and medical history
- Orders x-rays in the Radiology Information System per physician protocols
- Applies braces and splints as directed by physicians
- Utilizes proper techniques for casting
- Prepares specimens and requisitions for laboratory analysis
- Performs dressing changes, suture removals, and other procedures as directed by physicians
- Assists providers with in-office procedures and completes necessary orders as instructed
- Manages and oversees all tasks, including monitoring provider tasks
- Returns patient messages
- Informs patients of test results and provider instructions
- Schedules follow-up appointments
- Conducts follow-up calls to check on patients post-procedure as directed
- Triages patient inquiries and needs
- Distributes and educates patients on relevant information
- Prepares patient charts
- Obtains all medical records required for visits
- Ensures all ordered tests are completed and results are available
- Reviews charts and medication inventory to confirm availability
- Prepares all pre-operative charts
- Conducts Radiology Studies
- Ensures patient comfort during procedures by screening for relevant medical history, explaining procedures, positioning patients for optimal results, and providing necessary protection.
- Positions patients accurately for high-quality imaging and adjusts positioning as needed based on medical conditions and abilities. Adjusts all operator-controllable parameters of the equipment to ensure correct exposure.
- Maintains control over operator-selectable parameters to customize images for examination while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Retrieves patients from examination rooms and escorts them back post-exam, retrieves images from the Digital Radiology System, and prepares them for provider review.
- Keeps records of patients treated, examinations performed, and images captured, maintaining permanent records.
- Evaluates image quality and reports any deficiencies.
- Submits charges for procedures performed.
Additional Duties:
- Maintains a tidy and organized workspace
- Participates in the management of clinical supplies
- Performs other incidental and related duties as assigned
Physical and Mental Requirements:

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Florida license in Basic Radiology - ARRT Certification required
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent team collaboration abilities
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience required
