Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire knowledge of the electrical trade from experienced Lead Electricians while applying learned principles such as NEC code, electrical theory, calculations, and Ohm's Law in practical settings.
  • Assist in the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring all work is performed safely.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and hand instruments to troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems and components.
  • Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other essential components.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical systems and components to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes.
  • Test electrical systems and circuit continuity to verify compatibility and safety.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate transfer of service work data.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Enrollment in an Electrical Apprenticeship program is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in mathematics and reading comprehension.
  • Understanding of electrical concepts, best practices, and codes, including Life Safety Codes and NFPA standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Possession of necessary trade tools.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
