Job Description

Job Summary:

The Aircraft Maintenance Lead will oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) shops, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate MRO Schedules: Plan and schedule tasks to meet all MRO schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on time and to the required standard.
  2. Lead Shop Personnel: Lead and instruct shop personnel in proper procedures and techniques, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  3. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Review work performed and ensure completion of applicable forms and records necessary for compliance with Repair Station regulatory requirements and Corporate Standards.
  4. Implement Lean Initiatives: Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to ensure shops are meeting production requirements, work areas remain clean, uncluttered, and safe.
  5. Support Process Improvement: Identify and resolve gaps within processes to ensure continuity of operations within the framework of repair station requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Leadership Experience: Must have demonstrated leadership ability and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret all required maintenance and regulatory documents.
  3. Operational Skills: Must demonstrate expertise in operating all tools, test equipment and/or material handling equipment relevant to the area or responsibility.
  4. Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in use of commercial and proprietary software packages and apps.
  5. Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Additional Information:

This role is a full-time position with up to 25% travel required. The successful candidate will be based in the Gulfstream Savannah facility.
