Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead musical performances during scheduled worship services, choir practices, and additional ceremonies as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with chapel personnel, fellow musicians, volunteers, and representatives from other faith communities for joint activities.
  • Establish a consistent work schedule that accommodates rehearsals, worship events, and other musical initiatives.
  • Provide musical accompaniment and support during all regular rehearsals and worship gatherings.
  • Assist in the setup and dismantling of rehearsal and performance spaces, including managing audio equipment and musical instruments.
  • Engage fully in worship services, including sound checks and warm-up sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Active member of the Protestant faith, dedicated to participating in the worship services.
  • At least a high school diploma (preferably two years of Bachelor's level education in instrumental music) and a minimum of four years of experience as a musician in worship settings.
  • Skilled in playing keyboard and/or guitar, capable of sight-reading and performing from instrumental sheet music, as well as reading chord charts.
  • Submit two positive letters of recommendation and a video demonstrating the applicant's performance of congregational worship music.
