ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating all personnel necessary to effectively complete projects.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Facilitating communication with foremen and field technicians.
  • Overseeing the workflow of various projects.
  • Maintaining project timelines and schedules.
  • Ordering and managing materials and equipment for ongoing projects.
  • Ensuring the quality of work performed meets company standards.
  • Promoting safety on-site, aiming for zero incidents and no recordables, which includes adherence to safety policies, conducting weekly toolbox talks, and fostering a safety culture.
  • Generating daily reports to document project progress.
  • Capturing project developments through photographs and as-built documentation.
  • Approving workforce hours and material invoices on a weekly basis.
  • Overseeing the training and development of Foremen and Field Technicians.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bi-lingual skills are advantageous.
  • A two-year college degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in interpreting blueprints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Daily use of Procore software.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry.
  • The ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
  • The capability to climb and maintain balance on equipment, ladders, and scaffolding.
  • The strength to lift over 50 pounds.
  • A valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
