Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team at Apis Services, Inc. as a Behavioral Health Specialist. The successful candidate will work with clients to develop and execute treatment plans that emphasize prevention of delinquent/criminal behaviors and community safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients to facilitate group and individual treatment sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address client needs
  • Collaborate with other staff members to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports
  • Facilitate group and individual treatment sessions, as well as family therapy sessions when deemed appropriate
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in social work, psychology, guidance and counseling, education, criminal justice, nursing, or a related human services field discipline
  • Experience in the provision of behavioral health services and knowledge of assessment, motivational interviewing, safety planning, family therapy, and relapse prevention
  • Previous experience working with delinquents/criminals
  • Excellent communication, computer, and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of clinical experience in the field
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a modern, well-lit office facility with multiple levels of stairs and access to a vehicle.
