Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Patterns LLC. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and special procedure imaging, diagnostic and medical sonograms. You will prepare patients for procedures, assist radiologists when needed, and prepare, operate, and care for the equipment being used.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and special procedure imaging, diagnostic and medical sonograms
  • Prepare patients for procedures and assist radiologists when needed
  • Prepare, operate, and care for equipment being used
  • Develop and process films when needed
  • Adhere to established radiology standards of care
  • Obtain continuing education as required
  • Assume responsibility for assigned area and duties
  • Adhere to hospital-wide customer service programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including quality assurance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Satisfactory completion of a certified ultrasound program or limited permit/certificate
  • ARDMS eligibility after 1 year from graduation and 1000 clinical hours
  • Experience preferred
  • Must meet continuing education requirements to maintain certification
  • ARDMS required for ACR accreditation compliance after January 1, 2019
  • BCLS (CPR) certification preferred

  • Frequently move and position patients for exams
  • May be exposed to chemicals necessary to perform required tasks
