Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated CAREGiver in Manhattan to provide non-medical services to seniors in their homes. Our mission is to enhance the lives of aging adults throughout Manhattan, allowing them to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.
Duties include:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Alzheimer's Care
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check (after conditional employment) and drug screen - both required under NYS law
- 2+ Years of Experience as a Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide
- Valid up to date Home Health aide/ Personal care Aide Certificate
